The vision: To provide confidential therapy and counseling in order to support, spiritual growth, emotional health, and relational healing of children, individuals and families. Sessions are located in a safe, neutral environment and fees are affordable based on a sliding scale. Therapy takes place in a private office setting either in Powell or West Knoxville to ensure client’s confidentiality and accessibility of services.

 

Leah Heifner, M.A., LPC-MHSP is a licensed professional counselor and mental health service provider in the State of Tennessee.  She has also obtained certification through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) as a National Certified Counselor. Leah completed a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Counseling in May, 2004 from Johnson Bible College. She also received a Bachelors Degree in Leadership and Ministry in 1999 from Johnson Bible College, and obtained an Associate’s Degree in Mental Health Technology in 1993 from Sinclair Community College. She has 18 years of experience in Counseling, Social Work, and ministry. Leah is a member of the Licensed Professional Counselor’s Association and the Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee. She also obtained additional training through the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland to utilize experiential techniques in therapy with individuals, children, families, and groups.
